Welcome to 161 Washington Ave. This sunny tropical pool home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with your own private heated pool that is waiting to make your vacation a special experience. Just a short two-minute walk to the beach, on a street with direct beach access (Connecticut Ave ) you’ll love the convenience of this mid island home situated in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Walking up the steps to the front door you’ll notice the great screened in front porch. This is sure to be one of your favorite spots in the house as you can enjoy bug free days and nights while watching the daily happenings of the neighborhood go by.

Stepping into the house you will be greeted by an open and inviting living room and dining area. The open and welcoming dining room complete with a bright chandelier is to your right with the beautiful, calming living room to your left. Decorated in welcoming grey and blue tones, it is reminiscent of the waters of the gulf and give you calming feeling. Enjoy lounging in the living room either playing board games or watching on the 65″ TV with streaming Xfinity service. Open the sliding doors and let the Gulf breezes flow through the screened in porch and through the house. A cafe table and chairs are ready for you to enjoy watching the sunsets or sunrises from the porch. The fully equipped kitchen is located just off the dining area and has everything you could need during your stay.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, in-room 50″TV and full en-suite bathroom. The first of two guest bedrooms both has a queen size bed and in-room 45″ TV. The second guest bedroom has two twin beds and a 45″ TV. Each is well appointed with plenty of closet and dresser space. There’s a full bathroom with tub in the hallway between the guest rooms. A laundry room off the kitchen has a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Of course, wireless internet, Xfinity streaming TV, a gas grill and washer and dryer are also included with your stay. Please note for our guests with allergies this home is a smoke free home. For our guests travelling with their dogs, this home is pet friendly. The property is fully fenced. A maximum of two dogs are allowed. Non-refundable pet fee applies. Dogs must be approved by owner first.

Heading outside you will enjoy the relaxing back yard. A private outdoor space with loungers will have you begging for more tanning time in the backyard! Cool off in your private in-ground heated salt pool. Enjoy cooking on your 6 burner BBQ with your loved ones as you sit down at the outdoor dining table and chairs complete with umbrellas throughout to protect you from the sun’s rays under the house. At night, the back yard is transformed into a lovely area.

Located just a thee-minute walk to the beach you will find seven miles of our white sugar sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. The warm waters of the Gulf will cool you off on those hot days. Enjoy the dolphins that pass by or fish from the Gulf to catch that fresh fish dinner for the evening. Grocery shopping couldn’t be easier with Publix being within a mile from the house. The award-winning Bayfront Bistro and Snook Bight Marina are located behind Publix for your five-star dining experience or to rent a boat or sightseeing charter from.

Trolley stops going both north and south can be found at the corner of Estero Blvd. and Connecticut Ave beach acces, which is less than a two-minute walk from the house. Jump on the trolley and head to Times Square and shopping, dining and nightlife, or journey southbound to the beach movie theater, Santini Shopping Plaza, Lovers Key State Park or into Bonita Springs for $.75 a ride or purchase an all-day pass for just $2. Enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida where you can swim with dolphins and manatees or search for shells and sand dollars. Charter boats, jet skis and parasailing rentals are within walking distance. Enjoy the Key West Express, a 170-foot Catamaran, for a day adventure to Key West. Catch some of the local artists at one of the many beach bars; enjoy great restaurants and fantastic shopping.

Looking for something to do after the beach? Try mini golf, frisbee golf, bowling or go-cart racing at Zoomers. Check out our beautiful library, a movie theater, water park, recreation center/gym and much, much more. Enjoy a myriad of great ice cream parlors including Kilwins on Times Square, Love Boat, Scrumptiously Delicious, etc. Further out in the surrounding areas of Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, and Naples you can enjoy numerous golf courses, museums (Thomas Edison), the Shell Factory, the IMAG History (http://theimag.org) and Science Center (a hands-on museum), Calusa Nature Center, Naples Zoo, or an Everglades Airboat or Swamp Buggy adventure.
